How to operate your Sam4S cash register -

1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. Mode key must be in the REG postion

3. Screen must be display REGISTER MODE
(If it says REGISTER MODE CLOSED you must log on first using one of the buttons on the 0-9 key pad followed by CLK#)

4. Enter price of item or sale using the 0-9 numeric key pad

5. Press one of the PLU buttons

6. Repeat procedure untill all items have been entered

7. Press SUB TOTAL button

8. Enter amount tendered using the 0-9 numeric key pad

9. Press the correct tender button (CASH/TEND for cash)

10. Dispense change as displayed on screen

How to take your end of day reading on your old style Sam4S or Samsung cash register -

1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. The Z mode key must be in the till mode lock

3. Turn the Z key to the Z position

4. Display will vary depending on your cash register

5. Press numeric number 1 on the numeric keypad

6. Press SUB TOTAL

7. Cash drawer should open (depending on program settings and model)

8. Once report has finished you can tear it off

9. Make sure to turn key back to REG or OFF position

11. Once report has finished you can tear it off

12. Make sure to turn key back to REG or OFF position

How to do a refund on a Sam4S cash register -

This procedure will vary depending on your specifc Sam4S cash register and how it has been programmed, but on most Sam4S cash registers you have two ways of processing a refund - either through the REG mode or through the VOID mode.

Refunds in the VOID mode will require the manager key.

Refunds in the REG mode may be disabled for manager control over refunds.

3. Screen must be display 0.00 with no error mesages

4. Press the MDSE RETURN button

5. Enter price of item being refunded using the 0-9 numeric key pad

6. Press the relevant department button

7. Press SUB TOTAL button

8. Press the correct tender button (CASH TEND for cash)

9. Dispense refund as displayed on screen / receipt
